WINNER'S GO TO THE AUCKLAND CHAMP'S

TRIPLE WOW!!!!!!!!

On Sunday the 22nd of March it was the Soap Box Derby challenge.
(WHOEVER WIN'S GOES TO THE AUCKLAND CHAMPS!)

I got so excited as if I was a Millionaire!

I arrived at Morrin road in Mt Wellington at 8:30am. The first race of the day was at
9:30 CHURR HOO. At 8 o clock Mr Burt our principal came to Morrin
Road with Point England School's CAR.
It was NICE and SHINY, mostly RED, and at the back it was
BLACK. We were mostly supported by KORKOR, a company that makes two way digital radios.

BAM!!!!! 9:30 went past with a scream in my ear.
Up first was CHURCHILL PARK SCHOOL VS PARNELL DISTRICT SCHOOL. Off they went down the steep hill, then up a 300 metre hill. 5 seconds away from the finish line
with CHURCHILL PARK UP IN FRONT. OH NO!
CHURCHILL PARK BREAKED BEFORE THE FINISH LINE! which lead's PARNELL up in front, past the finish line, and brake as CHURCHILL PARK moved slowly across the finish line.

WHAT A BAD START TO THE DAY FOR CHURCHILL PARK.

Next race was POINT ENGLAND VS SACRED HEART AND I WAS ON THE
LEFT LANE. The pit crew brought out the car on the ramp and down I went straight down like a soaring sword and past the finish line.

IN FIRST PLACE IS POINT ENGLAND WITH THEFASTEST TIME OF THE DAY!
When all the rounds were finished, we had won all our races.

After that was round 2 our quarter final's.

For the next race
it was POINT ENGLAND VS BAILEY ROAD.

"GO!! "
Said the man and off we went
down the hill "and Jacob is taking the lead for point England school"
(that's me). Down I went and "POINT ENGLAND IS WINNING BY 7
SECONDS.... 6, 5, 4....... AND THE WINNER IS JACOB!"
I WON BY 4 SECONDS WITH THE BEST RECORD TIME of 33.221. SO OFF I GO NOW TO GET READY FOR THE GRAND FINAL'S

As I got up, the car was already loaded up and so I got in. Down I went vs Sacred Heart for the Grand Final's.

SO WE WON! NORTH SHORE HERE WE COME WITH 4 TROPHY'S!

2009 SOAP BOX DERBY RACING!!

At 6.30 am I woke up for my PRACTISE. I took my bag and lunch box and off
I went to school to get ready for Mr Jacobsen.

When I got to school I wore my uniform with pride. I waited for the rest of our crew to arrive to go to the race and win the prize.
Mr Burt came with his beautiful truck and the pit crew ran to the shed to get the car ready to load and get tied up on the truck.

As the car got loaded on to the truck we set off to the netball courts down in Mount Wellington avenue. We got there and there were lots of schools there: there was Sacred Heart College, Bailey Road, Parnell, and King's Prep.

We got ready to race and off they went down the hill past the lights and "BRAKE" the man said. So they all braked and in first place was King's Prep and then my school and then Parnell and last place was Sacred Heart.

As the next race started it was me racing and as I went down the hill in third place Bailey Road nearly CRASHED so
he stopped and I over took him and Parnell school and I came first.

Mt Wellington Warriors: I've got a message for you

Today on Tuesday the 3rd of MARCH I am going to sign up for the Mount Wellington WARRIORS under 11s rugby league team. When I get there I will train as hard as the KIWIS. I will play for this team and NEVER GIVE UP.

When I sign up for it we will win the championship and we will never LOSE a game. We ARE the WARRIORS and we will play LIKE the Warriors. We will be back if we lose so don't forget the Mount Wellington Warriors are back in the GAME.

When I play I will TACKLE HARD I will not let THEM get
a TRY and I will defend my team from sadness.

Our assistant coach is LOGAN SWAN AN EX-WARRIOR. COOL!!!!!!

ONCE A WARRIOR, ALWAYS A WARRIOR.

TV ONE CAME TO OUR SCHOOL

One day on Tuesday we were writing our recount about the weekend,
then a man with a big camera came into our class room and asked if he could video us so we could be on channel one. As they were filming they picked Leoden to be the teacher and to interview us
on the computer's. When Leoden was introducing us he was a very confident speaker and was amazing at interviewing. As he came to introduce me I was On my Blog Writing about the American police and our class was so quiet that there was no sound and it was only me and Leoden speaking.

As they were videoing me writing on my blog, they were asking me question's about how I type all the word's and type all of the story about my recount. We watched ourselves on Channel One on Friday last week. It was so cool and I was embarrassed when my family saw me on T.V.

The American World police

One day on a Saturday my family and I went down
to Rotorua to go to my grandpa's grave because it was his
birthday and he would have turned 79 year's old if he was still alive.www.best5star.com/assets/images/east800may07.jpg

As we went through this place called Matamata
we stopped to buy us a drink. When my mom went in to the shop's my sister and I saw a police man coming towards us to go to the
shop's too. As he walked past us he waved to a person on the other
side of the road and he said "World American police please come here"
and I saw their badge's. There were like 20 police men.

My mum came out and she had 5 bag's of chip's. When we went to sit down for a feed
I was like WOW!! AMERICAN POLICE. I said "MUM MUM, look police!" and then a police man stepped on the other police man's feet. The police man said "man you've got to watch out for my shoe's". Then he rubbed his shoe's on his pant's.

As we were going to see my grandpa's grave, I saw lot's of police men in a line walking and saying something. We then left 10 minute's later. There were 2 police car's and an ambulance because there was a big car crash.

When we came home we turned on the t.v. and Police 10 7 was on. We saw the car crash that we had seen in Rotorua. It showed us drive past.

WORLD CUP at Pt England Primary

Last Friday at assembly, guess what came???????THE WORLD RUGBY LEAGUE CUP!!!!!!

When assembly started I got SOO happy because the KIWI'S were coming to our assembly.
When Mr Burt said "e tu" we all stood up and put our hand's behind our back and sang the National Anthem. We sang through the whole National
Anthem. Then Mr Burt said "e noho" and we all sat down and sat up like
the Pt England way.

Mr Burt talked to us about the KIWI'S and about the famous WORLD CUP!! that was up on our stage. Before Mr Burt introduced us to Keith, the Public Relations person,
Mr Burt said "it's time for" and everybody said "lunch box heroes". Then Mr Burt said "no quizz time" and everybody laughed.

When the lunch box heroe's finished Mr Burt introduced us to Keith. Keith came to the
front of the hall to talk to us about the WORLD CUP!!.

Keith was talking and talking and it started to get very INTERESTING. After he finished talking to us he showed us footage of the final's for the WORLD RUGBY LEAGUE CUP!!.
As he put on the movie he stepped back for us to see.
Some part's of the footage was funny and some part's were
so cool because I liked it when Manu Vatuvai SHOULDER CHARGED
Billy Slater.When the movie finished Keith had to go and we all went to shake his hand.

Sensational Swimarama!

In the holidays at 12.0clock I went to Swimarama with my
aunty. We got to Swimarama by car and she brought 7 children
and 3 adults wth her.

We got to Swimarama but first we had to find a
parking. 30 seconds later we found a parking. I jumped out of the car
like a leaping frog. We got out of the car and ran to the shade
because the ground was TOO hot!!!!!

My cousin, aunty and I went inside the Swimarama door's
so my aunt can pay for us. She went to get her wallet. She paid
$32.50 cent's for all of us.

My two brothers and I ran inside the boy's changing room
and got changed really quickly. We got out of the changing room, then the lady said that
the hydroslide was free.

We ran to the hydroslide like we were Usain Bolt (the fastest man in the world).
We got to the hydroslide and there were Lot's of girl's and boy's in a long long line. We waited for 2 minutes and the line started moving faster.

I got to the front of the line and I went down the slide. When I got half way I started to get scared because it started to get dark.When I got to the end I felt so happy I felt like I had won
ONE MILLION DOLLAR'S!!!!!!!!.

After that we spent 2 hour's In the outside pool because it was TOO HOT!!!!!!!. 2 hour's went past and I walked to the diving board but it was closed because the diving board was broken.

Since the diving board was broken we spent the rest of our day in the outside pool.

At 3.00 we went home. When I went home I was very tired so I jumped on my bed and went to sleep.
