Rockclimbing

WOW! On camp my best activity was Rockclimbing. When we went to Rockclimbing I was the first one to have a go. When I got to the top I felt like I had done this three times but it wasn't, it was my first time ever. Also when I got to top wanted to come down. I was excited.

The Point England way

What we are learning about is the 3-ps and respecting our 3-ps. My name is Tasi Jacob Aafoaloand I am a year 5 at Pt England Scool Glen Innes Auckland. Our country is NZ.

What we are really learning about is taking care and our Captain is called Captain Caring.Our captain is from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
If you want to be like us just care for other people and help them.
We are also learning about the Treaty of Waitangi . This was an agreement between the Moaris and the Queen-signed in 1840. That was 168 years ago. The 3 P's are from the Treaty. The 3-ps are called Partnership, Protection and Participation. Partnership means working together and paticipation means taking part. Last but not least Protection means keeping safe.

Our animation for this term is how can the 3-ps help us to be Happy, Safe and Successful.

Picnic

BANG! I hit the ball as far as I could and ran to base number 3.This was when my school, my whole school

went on a picnic down at the reserve by Pt England beach, the game was called Lape a Samoan game. After my hit it was Sione's turn and he hit it further than then I did, I ran and I was safe. Sione got to base number 2.

When we had a break the score was 20 points to the students, that was my team, and 28 points to the teachers.When we were back on track it was the teachers turn to hit.The first hitter was Mr Palmer his hit went "BANG" and he ran all the way around.When Mr Palmer came back Siones mum said "and what and what."

camp

WOW! I threw the ball as hard as I could and got all the pins down on my first shot ever. I got
a strike.When I finished my turn it was Uluaki's turn and on his first go he got 9 pins down. When it was his second turn he missed one then it was Zane's turn and he got a strike too. But when it was Mokani's turn he got the meanest strike. When we finished my team won, we got 326 points. After that we went back to school.
The next day we went kayaking. Kayaking was cool cause we get to get our own boat and own paddle. When I got in to the boat I got in safely and soundly. When I was paddling I went as far as the green post then I came back because there were oysters there and I could have fallen on them. When we had a change over, I was a life guard in Mr Burts speed boat. It was so cool and too fast because i nearly fell off and I would of hit myself on the rock.
When we went back to school we watched a movie in the hall at 10.30 pm and it finished
at midnight. After that we went to brush our teeth then went back into my tent and put my toothbrush and toothpaste away and went to sleep in my tent

Picnic

On February our school had a picnic down at Pt England Reserve .When we got there we played COOL games and had a GOOD COLD swim. At the picnic I saw my friends and they are Jonty, Colin, Henry and Campbell.
When I was at the picnic Jordan and I was talking about wrestling. My favourite fighters were UnderTaker, John Cena, Kane, Greatkhali, Batista, Triple H, Sean Micheal, Lashley, Bret Hart, Ray Mysterio and The Hardy Boys. After that I went for a swim and I was FREEZING COLD. Then I went to play rugby and then we went back to school.

Camp

A few weeks ago the year 5 and 6 went on camp. Camp was amazing because we slept
in big tents and we did Rockclimbing, ten pin bowling, going to Swimerama, going on a bush walk, kayaking, camp cooking and we watched a movie before we went to bed.
I have lots of words to say about camp but I wont say lots I will say one that camp was amazing. When we went on camp, Rockclimbing and ten pin bowling were my favourite activities.
When I was sleeping in my tent the two boys that I slept with were annoying because they kept on waking me up.
When camp was finished we went home.
