An AWESOME day with RUBEN WIKI!!!!!!!!!

On Wednesday at our famous most FANTASTIC school
RUBEN WIKI came to our school to have breakfast with us WOW!!!!
We had a great time together, it was fantastic and COOL.
RUBEN THE WIKI MAN. RUBEN was so much fun. He came to our school to
have breakfast with us because last year at the Auckland champs, WE WON THE LEAGUE CUP FOR 08. Ruben was so proud of us and when we had breakfast he came to sit by me. I was about to EXPLODE like a fire cracker! We had breakfast with Ruben until we were all full.

When we were all finished, Ruben took us out to do some LEAGUE training on the field.

DOUBLE WOW!!

We were doing trials and we had rotations. My first group was with Ruben the WIKI man. It was so AMAZING AND FANTASTIC.
For our trial with the Wiki man we were playing touch. Touch is so so cool like a hell of the dog.
The whistle blew, then we had to rotate around so we went to Jerry Seuseu's trial. His trial was the best. We split up in to two lines. Our game was called and race game. FIRST we had to name our teams, the other team was called the KIWIS and my team was called the......

$$$$$WARRIORS$$$$

This game is all about speed and technique. I was the first one to run to the goal post and BACK
with all the their team setting up to see who wins the game. As Jerry blew the whistle my team ran past the other team and wen running to the goal post and back to see who is the winner. It was so cool.
As they were racing back, my team got tired and started to jog, that's why the other team ran past him until he passed the ball to me and I sprinted to the goal post and passed the other
team and gave it to Jonty and now we were winning by miles. When it finished the winners were the warriors.

After that we had a great time with RUBEN and a great time with JERRY
we thanked them. We will never forget them.

Mt Wellington Warriors: I've got a message for you

Today on Tuesday the 3rd of MARCH I am going to sign up for the Mount Wellington WARRIORS under 11s rugby league team. When I get there I will train as hard as the KIWIS. I will play for this team and NEVER GIVE UP.

When I sign up for it we will win the championship and we will never LOSE a game. We ARE the WARRIORS and we will play LIKE the Warriors. We will be back if we lose so don't forget the Mount Wellington Warriors are back in the GAME.

When I play I will TACKLE HARD I will not let THEM get
a TRY and I will defend my team from sadness.

Our assistant coach is LOGAN SWAN AN EX-WARRIOR. COOL!!!!!!

Do your best for our TEAM, LOVE each other as a family.

WORLD CUP at Pt England Primary

Last Friday at assembly, guess what came???????THE WORLD RUGBY LEAGUE CUP!!!!!!

When assembly started I got SOO happy because the KIWI'S were coming to our assembly.
When Mr Burt said "e tu" we all stood up and put our hand's behind our back and sang the National Anthem. We sang through the whole National
Anthem. Then Mr Burt said "e noho" and we all sat down and sat up like
the Pt England way.

Mr Burt talked to us about the KIWI'S and about the famous WORLD CUP!! that was up on our stage. Before Mr Burt introduced us to Keith, the Public Relations person,
Mr Burt said "it's time for" and everybody said "lunch box heroes". Then Mr Burt said "no quizz time" and everybody laughed.

When the lunch box heroe's finished Mr Burt introduced us to Keith. Keith came to the
front of the hall to talk to us about the WORLD CUP!!.

Keith was talking and talking and it started to get very INTERESTING. After he finished talking to us he showed us footage of the final's for the WORLD RUGBY LEAGUE CUP!!.
As he put on the movie he stepped back for us to see.
Some part's of the footage was funny and some part's were
so cool because I liked it when Manu Vatuvai SHOULDER CHARGED
Billy Slater.When the movie finished Keith had to go and we all went to shake his hand.
